Cathy's wedding gown...
If you're wondering about the Jack'o Lantern background, there's a good reason...Cathy is getting married on Halloween this year and her wedding will be one big costume party. The groom will be Captain Jack Sparrow, two bridesmaids as Tinkerbell and Sarah from the Nightmare before Christmas and one of the grooms men will be Beetleguise, the other an X-wing pilot from Star Wars. Cathy loves to dress up and it's the perfect ocassion to make others join her for the fun!
Her dress is another reproduction of the original baby blue satin duster gown I did several years ago, featuring a navy belt. I've done this dress several times, for the other examples, go see "Kim's wedding gown". After weeks and weeks of beading I finally finished with putting the elaborate floral motif on. Beautiful! Cathy has a fuller bust and so the cut for the front of the bodice changes to the princess bust seam, which makes things look a lot better for cup sizes C and above.
